ABEL will again this year be present at the meeting of
The General Synod of the Church of England
at the University of York
on 7 - 11 July 2023

 

This year, ABEL will again be attending the General Synod, where the whole topic of safeguarding in the Church will have a very high profile. We will be displaying an updated poster containing new research information, as well as a list of online locations for the Anti-Bullying Policies of each diocese where these exist, complete with a QR code for each one so that you can flash the code for your diocese and see for yourself what they are saying - or not saying.

 

We also look forward to simply having conversations with visitors to Synod with a concern for this aspect of safeguarding.
